01Why Way Weave

Stop planning one trip in five browser tabs

A rail site for the train, a bus company's site for the long-distance bus, a flight search, a map for the last few kilometres and a taxi app. None of them sees the whole journey, so the connections, the waiting times and the total price are left for you to work out.

Way Weave puts all of it into a single search and returns a single itinerary: every ride, every transfer and one total price, from your door to the door you're heading to.

Without Way Weave

  • Rail operatorTrains, but only its own network
  • Bus companyLong-distance buses, booked on another site

02Complex routes

Routes other planners give up on

Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden is a mountain village in Bavaria with no railway station. The planner scanned thousands of connections across three countries and four kinds of transport, and found five ways to Prague, from €21 by bus to seven hours with a flight.

  • Mixed modes. Train, long-distance and local bus, flight, taxi and walking in a single route.
  • Cross-border. Different operators, time zones and border controls handled for you.
  • First and last mile. From a village or a street address to the nearest station, and from the station to your door.
  • Long journeys. If a connection means a night on the way, you see it, with an estimate for a place to stay.
  • Return and multi-city. The way back and several cities in one search.
  • Your rules. Leave out flights or taxis, and limit the number of changes.

07FAQ

Questions

Is Way Weave free?

Yes. Searching, comparing, planning and sharing trips are free for travellers, and we never add fees to ticket prices.

Do you sell tickets?

No. You always buy from the operator or an official seller; we link you to the right departure. Some of these are partner links, and your price is the same either way.

Can I find a place to stay?

Yes. For every town where you spend the night, we open Booking.com, Airbnb, Vrbo, Hotels.com and Expedia with your dates and number of guests filled in. You book on their site, at their price.

Which countries are covered?

Trains, long-distance buses and flights across Europe, with flights to the rest of the world. Local transport coverage varies by country and keeps growing.

How accurate are times and prices?

Timetables come from data the operators publish. Where there is none, as with many rural buses, taxis and some fares, the planner estimates and says so. The operator's site always has the final price.

Do I need an account?

Only to save and share trips and to keep your search history. You can download your data or delete the account at any time.

Where does the data come from?

Timetables published by operators such as Deutsche Bahn, SBB, České dráhy, PKP and FlixBus. Places from OpenStreetMap, Wikidata and Wikipedia; weather from Open-Meteo; events from Ticketmaster.

Where are you going next?
